This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Marketing Specialist based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, creative development, and business development within a leading professional services environment.
You’ll help shape compelling proposals, presentations, collateral, and pursuit strategies that support client growth and new business wins.
Working alongside marketing, communications, graphics, client engagement, and business development professionals, you’ll contribute to high-impact initiatives across markets and services.
The position offers significant ownership, including leading complex pursuits from early strategy through proposal and interview stages.
You’ll also strengthen regional brand visibility through events, sponsorships, awards, photography, and other marketing initiatives.
Success requires a blend of strategic thinking, writing, project management, and strong visual communication skills.
This is a remote opportunity open across the U.S., with preference for candidates able to collaborate effectively within Central or Eastern time zones.

Accountabilities
Lead the development, coordination, and production of proposal materials across the full pursuit lifecycle, ensuring deliverables are compelling, accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time.
Drive large, strategic, and complex pursuits from proposal coordination through interview, developing creative concepts, visual themes, strategic messaging, and supporting content as needed.
Partner with marketing colleagues, business development professionals, client leaders, and other stakeholders to develop pursuit strategies designed to strengthen client engagement and improve win rates.
Create and update resumes, portfolio pages, presentations, collateral, and other marketing materials using established design templates and brand standards.
Support the development of marketing collateral for specific markets, offices, service areas, and business priorities.
Conduct market, client, and pursuit research to provide relevant insights that inform marketing strategies and business development activities.
Lead local and regional brand-building initiatives, including sponsorships, award submissions, events, photography, and other activities aligned with communications and public relations objectives.
Develop strong knowledge of the organization’s portfolio, people, services, and capabilities while building subject matter expertise across relevant markets, typologies, technologies, or service areas.
Support the development and ongoing training of Marketing Specialists in partnership with regional marketing leadership.
Provide peer review and quality oversight while carefully self-reviewing all work for accuracy, consistency, and content quality.
Maintain accurate client and pursuit information in VantagePoint and ensure proposal files and supporting documentation are properly organized.
Apply and share marketing best practices while contributing to external marketing activities and other strategic initiatives as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing or communications, preferably within a professional services organization; 7+ years is preferred.
Experience working in a professional services environment, with exposure to Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction considered a strong advantage.
Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex pursuits and marketing projects from initial strategy through final delivery.
Strong strategic thinking, writing, visual communication, and design capabilities, with the ability or desire to develop deeper expertise in at least one of these areas.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce polished, professional marketing materials.
Familiarity with Deltek VantagePoint and Miro is a plus.
Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Highly proactive, self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of complex assignments.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage a variety of stakeholders.
A creative and innovative mindset, combined with sound judgment and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
For the application, candidates should be prepared to provide 2–3 work samples demonstrating proficiency with InDesign and other layout tools such as PowerPoint; 1–2 writing samples are optional.
Candidates should be able to explain their primary contribution to submitted work samples during the interview process and redact any proprietary or confidential information as appropriate.
