Description
Essential Purpose: The Marketing Specialist supports the execution of marketing initiatives across Temecula Creek Inn and its outlets, including Corkfire Kitchen, Temecula Creek Golf Club, Temecula Creek Weddings, and Meetings at Temecula Creek Inn. The role focuses on campaign execution, content development, digital marketing support, internal communications, and brand management.
This position works closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver marketing campaigns that drive resort awareness, guest engagement, and revenue across rooms, dining, golf, weddings, and group business. The role also supports on-property activations and events, representing the marketing department during key experiences and initiatives.
Essential Duties:
Campaign Execution and Marketing Support
Execute marketing campaigns across email, website, social media, and digital channels.
Coordinate promotions, seasonal offers, and events across all outlets.
Support campaign development with creative assets and cross team coordination.
Content Creation and Creative Production
Develop social media content including photography, video, reels, and short form content for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
Produce and edit video content for social media, website pages, and promotional campaigns.
Create marketing assets including presentations, flyers, social graphics, email graphics, and promotional materials.
Assist in planning and executing property photo and video shoots, including coordinating schedules and supporting production on site.
Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all marketing channels.
Social Media Management
Manage day to day social media activity across all property channels.
Plan and publish content, including reels and short form video.
Monitor engagement and identify content opportunities tied to events and property experiences.
Track performance and support content optimization.
Design and Creative Tools
Create visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Develop design assets using Canva for digital and social media campaigns.
Prepare graphics and creative assets for website updates, email marketing, and promotional campaigns.
Digital and Website Support
Assist with website updates, landing pages, and campaign messaging.
Support email marketing campaigns and digital promotions.
Coordinate updates to third party websites including Google Business, TripAdvisor, and booking platforms when required.
Reputation Management and Guest Engagement
Monitor online reviews and guest feedback across platforms including TripAdvisor, Google, and OTAs.
Assist with review responses and reputation management efforts supporting the resortβs online presence.
Identify opportunities to highlight guest experiences through social media and marketing channels.
Public Relations Support
Support public relations initiatives in partnership with the resortβs PR agency and media partners.
Assist with preparing press materials, media alerts, and property updates for distribution to media outlets.
Coordinate media visits, influencer stays, and hosted experiences including itineraries, amenities, and on property support.
Internal Communications
Manage internal marketing updates to keep teams informed on campaigns, assets, and initiatives.
Own LinkedIn and internal communication posts highlighting property updates, events, and promotions.
Ensure teams have access to current marketing materials and messaging.
Brand and Asset Management
Maintain marketing assets including photography, video, and brand materials.
Ensure all assets are organized, current, and accessible.
Support consistent branding across all outlets.
Events and Partnerships
Support on property events including Live Fire Food and Wine Festival and other activations.
Assist with partner events including those with Pechanga Resort and Casino.
Capture content during events for marketing use.
Cross Team Collaboration
Work with Food and Beverage, Golf, Sales, Events, and Guest Services teams to support promotions and experiences.
Serve as a marketing point of contact across departments.
Hospitality and Stewardship
Represent the Temecula Creek Inn brand in a professional and service oriented manner.
Act as a steward for the resort by maintaining high standards for presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism when supporting marketing activities across the property.
Maintain presentation standards across marketing materials and on property assets.
Support a clean, organized, and guest ready environment during marketing activities and events.
General
To assist in special projects, as needed.
To follow all policies and procedures of Temecula Creek Inn.
To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
To practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to self and others.
To comply with company and departmental safety rules and regulations, including the proper handling of all relevant equipment.
To attend all mandatory meetings, as directed.
To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
Requirements
Knowledge + Education:
Bachelorβs degree in marketing, communications, design, hospitality, or related field preferred. One (1) to two (2) years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, public relations, or content creation. Hospitality or travel industry experience preferred.

CapCut
Experience creating digital and social media content, including basic photo or video editing. Familiarity with creative and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms. Working knowledge of social media marketing, digital campaigns, and content development. Experience with marketing platforms such as social media management tools, content management systems, or email marketing platforms is a plus.
Skills: Strong written communication and copywriting skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Able to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and agencies. Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual presentation and brand consistency. Able to work productively with little supervision.
Physical Demands: Stands/ walks approximately 20% of shift. Sits at desk or in meetings approximately 80% of shift. Must be able to work well under pressure. Must be flexible to work long, sometimes irregular hours. Frequent use of stairs, daily. Heavy use of computer, daily. Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. over short distances.
