Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:The Associate Director will be responsible for delivering commercial insights to inform strategic choices and commercialization decisions in North America (primarily US) Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and Kidney business units. As an integral member of the North America Commercial Brand Teams, and a partner to the Global Commercial Brand Teams, the Associate Director will maintain a pulse on critical business questions, and will work closely with Global and International Market Research counterparts, to formulate and execute an insights plan (involving either primary market research and/or data analytics) to answer them.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Function as a key partner to the NA/US Marketing leads and provide objective perspective and insightsFormulate a comprehensive insights generation plan to address a spectrum of business questions using appropriate methodologiesIndependently design and execute primary market research that addresses key business questionsDefine data analytics needed to answer ongoing business questions and support/oversee its executionRun the analytics coordination forum which provides cross-functional alignment on analytics activities supporting the programMaintain a current summary of all the insights supporting a disease area in the form of an Insights bookDevelop the situation analysis for the Brand Planning processMaintain a strong understanding of the LRP forecast model and provide assumptions that inform the Long-Range PlanKnowledge and Skills:Depth of knowledge in a variety of primary market research methodologies; substantial experience managing design and execution of primary market research projectsStrong complex quantitative analysis skills; experience running own analyses as well as partnering with advanced analytics professionals, and interpreting resultsDeep understanding of the biopharma commercialization process; experience with go-to-market approaches and launch planningStrong experience working with global brands and understanding insights from global marketsExceptional written and verbal communication skills β able to synthesize and distill complex information into a compelling narrativeProactive orientation - able to anticipate issues, engage with stakeholders and plan accordinglyDemonstrated experience as a trusted advisor and thought partner to stakeholdersComfortable with ambiguity; able to effectively structure problems and solution approachesEducation and Experience:Bachelorβs Degree in relevant discipline requiredTypically requires 8 or more years in bio-pharma marketing, market research and/or analytics, or the equivalent combination of education and experienceFlex Designation:Hybrid-Eligible Or On-Site EligibleFlex Eligibility Status:In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:1.
