We are seeking a Director of Central Intake for a nonprofit based in Iowa. Applicants can come from anywhere but must be ready to travel to HQ or to visit branches in Des Moines quarterly. This role will enhance and expedite referrals while fostering strong relationships with the community. This role involves leading an experienced intake team and collaborating with the VP of Business Development to streamline and improve the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Direct and oversee the central intake team in driving postacute referrals and admissions.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor standardized protocols for team activities ensuring integrated care management.
3. Promote collaboration across departments to support census growth.
4. Conduct monthly audits on referrals, admissions, and denials.
5. Mentor and coach the central intake team to ensure continued development and success.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent work experience.
2. Active RN license (preferred).
3. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
4. Strong knowledge and experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) and referral management systems.
5. At least 3 years of experience working with payer types.
6. Remote position with occasional travel to Des Moines, Iowa.
