Introduction
The Trade Marketing Coordinator supports the brand by connecting our products with shoppers and communities in meaningful ways. In this role, you will help lead community engagement events, coordinate seasonal promotions, and act as a key point of contact for the Trade Marketing Team, Sales, and external clients. You’ll help bring our trade marketing plans to life in the CPG industry—supporting in-store activation, local events, and new opportunities to showcase the brand. Prior experience in community events or CPG trade marketing is a plus, but not required; we’re looking for someone proactive, organized, and excited to learn and grow in this area.
Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement & Brand Visibility
Lead the planning and execution of community engagement opportunities.
Manage event logistics (planning, budgeting, setup, execution, post-event follow-up) to ensure high-quality brand representation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for community partners, organizations, and event stakeholders.
Support the development and tracking of metrics and goals for community engagement projects.
2. Seasonal Promotions & Trade Marketing Activation
Act as the main contact for seasonal promotions and trade marketing activities across key CPG channels.
Plan and coordinate trade marketing campaigns, including seasonal and thematic activations that support sales objectives.
Coordinate the distribution of promotional materials and POS assets to merchandisers, sales teams, and external partners.
Ensure all trade marketing activities and promotions are aligned with brand guidelines and executed on time.
3. Trade Marketing Team Support & Continuous Improvement
Serve as a liaison between the Trade Marketing team, sales, and key partners ensuring clear communication and smooth execution.
Assist in maintaining and strengthening relationships with partners and stakeholders through regular touchpoints and follow-ups.
Continuously identify new opportunities for trade marketing activities within the CPG industry (in-store activations, displays, collaborations, etc.).
Support the Trade Marketing team with various projects as needed, including reporting, recap documents, and internal communications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in marketing, community engagement, event coordination, or a related role
Experience working with brand partnerships and managing external relationships
Experience in Project Management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Additional Qualifications
Bilingual – English and Spanish required.
Familiarity with market research and data analysis to inform marketing strategies.
Willingness to travel to events and partner meetings as required
