SUMMARY:
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, scheduling, and publishing high-quality content that strengthens the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel brand across all social media channels. This role focuses on day-to-day execution—content creation, community engagement, photography/video capture, and reporting—while contributing to larger digital marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation & Management
Develop daily/weekly content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms.
Capture on-property photo and video assets that support promotions, events, F&B offerings, resort amenities, and brand storytelling.
Edit short-form and long-form content using CapCut, Canva, and other editing tools.
Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with CCRH brand guidelines and the HOME Service Mantra.
Create real-time updates during events, promotions, and special activations.
Scheduling & Posting
Build and manage the monthly content calendar in coordination with the Marketing Team and Graphics Department.
Schedule posts across platforms using HootSuite and other management tools.
Collaborate with internal teams (Casino Operations, F&B, Golf, Hotel, HR, Events) to gather content and support department needs.
Community Engagement
Monitor comments, messages, and reviews; respond promptly and professionally.
Identify engagement opportunities and support reputation management efforts.
Report guest concerns or service recovery opportunities to appropriate departments.
Reporting & Analytics
Track daily/weekly performance metrics (engagement, reach, sentiment, response times, audience growth).
Compile monthly analytics reports with insights and recommendations.
Use performance data to refine content and support marketing objectives.
Brand Advancement & Collaboration
Assist in developing social media templates, signage, and digital assets.
Stay up to date on social media trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Team on campaigns, SEO support, and paid promotion opportunities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
1–3 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or related field.
Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and analytics tools.
Strong photography and video capture skills; comfort filming guests, events, and on-property footage.
Experience with content editing tools such as CapCut and Canva.
Excellent writing skills with attention to grammar, tone, and brand consistency.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Must be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and live event coverage.
Preferred:
Experience in hospitality, gaming, resort, or entertainment marketing.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).
Previous experience managing or mentoring others.
Familiarity with paid social advertising.
