The Federal Savings Bank is looking for an individual with a true passion for social media marketing to join our corporate Marketing team! Our ideal professional has made a career out of storytelling, is excited to take the reigns of our corporate social media platforms, and is ready to let their ideas flow.
We are a nationwide, federally-chartered bank specializing in residential mortgage lending and headquartered in Chicago, IL. The Social Media Specialist is an integral member of our superb Marketing Department, helping to heighten brand awareness, connect with audiences, drive business, (and win best group costume in the upcoming companywide Halloween contest)!
This is a hybrid position based in our Chicago (Logan Square) headquarters. Qualified candidates must reside in the Chicagoland area at the time of application.

Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and manage content that drives engagement, audience growth, and increases brand awareness across The Federal Savings Bank’s channels

Foster and grow social media presence across current and new platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and other relevant platforms
Create editorial/content calendars and publish content that builds meaningful and unique connections and encourages our community to take action for both our corporate accounts and individuals on managed plans
Manage social media profiles for individuals, including maintaining and creating unique campaigns for personal brands
Collaborate with teams across the marketing department - creative, copywriting, digital among others - to build a best-in-class strategy
Community management of corporate reputation on social media platforms
Analyze engagement metrics across social media platforms, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize content and drive growth.
Manage data and artwork for recurring campaigns.
Maintain compliance and brand standards on all marketing material
Assist in social media onboarding of new Loan Production Offices
Work with outside vendors to coordinate projects
This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing Operations
Requirements
General Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; preferred concentration in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or a related field
Able to commute to office in Chicago (Logan Square) 3 days a week
3+ years of professional experience working in social media management , agency preferred, or within the mortgage or real estate industries
Professional Competencies:
Proficiency in writing, proofreading, and editing consistent with the APA style guide
Able to assist with content creation using basic graphic design skills (ex.: Canva, Photoshop)
Adaptive to change and able to work with a sense of urgency, sometimes on tight deadlines, while still maintaining quality
Creative and proactive problem-solver
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, and executive leadership.
Experience in ad buying and content planning as a means of forecasting posts and follower engagement
Experience with automated marketing and email services - preferred
Fluency (spoken and written) in Spanish is a plus
Technical Skill Requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite products (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Proficiency with Sprout Social (certified preferred)
