Position Overview:
The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator owns the day-to-day execution of Thrive’s marketing activities and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This is a hands-on execution role within an established strategy and framework. The successful candidate can take direction and run with it, catch details others may miss, and keep multiple priorities moving without needing to be chased.

Requirements

Responsibilities:
Create, adapt, and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Respond to patient comments and direct messages within Thrive’s approved response framework and in accordance with privacy requirements.
Coordinate video shoots and content production with physicians and the videographer.
Review and quality-check websites, landing pages, and design assets before publication.
Maintain marketing trackers, editorial calendars, project timelines, and reporting data.
Coordinate with IT, design, and external partners to keep projects progressing and deadlines on track.
Identify potential issues, missing details, and dependencies early; resolve them independently when appropriate and escalate when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, business, or a related field preferred. May be substituted with relevant work experience.
2-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, content creation, or a related field.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple small deadlines and concurrent projects.
Confident working across social media platforms, websites, content-management systems, and other digital tools.
Proactive and able to identify problems or gaps without being prompted.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and recognize when to escalate an issue.
Ability to complete required HIPAA training before working with patient-facing channels and to follow all applicable privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare, medical, or patient-focused marketing.
Professional proficiency in Spanish.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
This role typically works in a clinical or administrative office setting within a healthcare facility, such as a physician’s practice, clinic, or outpatient center. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
