Job Summary/Objective:
The Senior Manager, Access Marketing, is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that enhance payer, provider, patient and institutional access to the company’s products. This role partners closely with the Market Access team and cross-functional stakeholders to help translate brand strategy into access-focused initiatives that support reimbursement, formulary positioning, and product utilization across payer and health system channels.

This position reports to the Director of HCP Marketing and serves as a key contributor to access-related customer engagement, field support, and execution of market access initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:
Support the development and execution of market access marketing strategies aligned with brand and access objectives
Assist in implementing payer and provider access initiatives, including formulary positioning and utilization efforts within key accounts
Help translate brand strategy into access-focused messaging tailored to payer, institutional, and health system audiences
Support the execution of market access initiatives that align with overall commercial objectives
Partner closely with Market Access teams, including payer, trade, and field account teams, to support aligned strategy and execution
Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations to ensure consistent and coordinated customer engagement
Support field-based account teams through development of tools, resources, and customer-facing materials
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to support timely execution of projects and initiatives
Gather and analyze customer, field, and market insights to identify opportunities to improve access and product utilization
Support reporting and analytics related to market access initiatives and customer engagement activities
Develops and manages annual projects and budget plan
Leads Medical, Legal, and Regulatory compliance review of market access marketing materials
Influences cross-functional stakeholders and Market Access leadership team to align on priorities, resolve complex business challenges, and drive execution of market access strategies

Track record of developing and enhancing processes, tools, templates, and operational standards to improve efficiency, scalability, and compliance of market access marketing initiatives

Recognized as an internal subject matter expert in market access marketing, patient support communications, and access strategy
Demonstrated track record of leading agency partners and driving high-quality strategic and creative output

Strong written and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate strategy and rationale

Office Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Spends approximately 90% of work time sitting and meeting with others or working at a desk and/or computer. Spends approximately 10% of work time standing or walking within the work area or at meetings and bends, twists, stoops and reaches. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. The noise level is usually moderate.

Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Public Health or a related field.
Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing, including at least 2+ years of direct experience in Market Access in Marketing with a strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and commercial environments within the pharmaceutical industry.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or other relevant graduate degree) preferred.
Marketing experience in epilepsy or neuroscience.
