We are pleased to represent an international law firm ranked 6th by Am Law to recruit a Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager who will work with the firm’s prestigious litigation practice, specifically the high-profile Crisis Management and White Collar practices. The Senior Manager will be a recognized leader within the Marketing Department and will develop, lead, and execute clear strategies and business plans that support the overall business goals of the litigation group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Collaboration: Partner with practice and industry leaders to develop and execute marketing, business development, and profile-raising initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Market-Driven Strategy: Leverage market insights to differentiate service offerings, deepen client relationships, and drive cross-marketing opportunities.
  • Project and Team Leadership: Oversee business development initiatives, including RFPs, pitches, and process optimization, while managing and developing staff to ensure operational excellence.
  • Budget and ROI Optimization: Advise on marketing budgets, evaluate ROI, and implement strategies to maximize resource allocation and impact.

Credentials and Expertise:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or JD is a considerable plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional marketing, business development, or other relevant experience and 4 years of direct personnel management experience is required.
  • Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of the business and legal landscape within the litigation practice and experience working with highly confidential or sensitive information is required.
  • Communication & Analytical Skills: Exceptional writing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills.
