A Day in the Life

Provide oversight and management for post-market quality key performance indicators and execution tasks across multiple post-market areas of accountability.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  1. Plans, oversees, directs and implements aspects of the company's post-market management within the Quality Management System.
  2. Oversight and accountability for Post-Market KPI’s for reporting to senior leadership and driving the processes with cross-functional peers to ensure timely completion of the required processes.
  3. May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to processes, materials, techniques, or company products.
  4. Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.
  5. Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of a product’s post-market lifecycle.
  6. Organizes the coordination of activities with internal company stakeholders and outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
  7. Engages personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Required Knowledge and Experience

Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Specialized Skills or Experience

  1. Quality Systems Management experience
  2. Statistical analysis tools and techniques
  3. Significant breadth and depth in quality decision making, risk management, and quality engineering.
  4. Experience in the medical device industry
  5. Post-Market Quality experience

Nice to Have

  1. DRM Belt Certification
  2. Project Management Certification
  3. Experience with project management tracking tools
  4. Requires exceptional engineering & Quality System knowledge and leadership capability within a business unit.
  5. Typically has deep domain expertise and applies extensive engineering and industry expertise.
