Worker Sub-Type: Student (Fixed Term) Job Description: About the Role BlackBerry’s Secure Communications division is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team for a 3-month summer internship. This hands-on program is designed for Marketing students who are eager to gain real-world experience across multiple marketing functions in a fast-paced technology environment. As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to projects that impact brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. This is an excellent opportunity to explore different areas of marketing and develop skills that will set you apart in your career. What You’ll Do During the internship, you will work across key marketing functions on projects that could include: Content Marketing: Assist in creating blog posts, social media content, and marketing collateral. Digital Marketing: Support campaigns across email, paid media, and SEO initiatives. Product Marketing: Help develop messaging and positioning. Field Marketing: Contribute to planning and execution of webinars and virtual events. Analytics & Reporting: Learn how to measure campaign performance and interpret data insights. You’ll also have the chance to: Collaborate with designers, writers, and marketing strategists. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas. Gain exposure to marketing tools and platforms used in the industry. What We’re Looking For College student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range: $34,050.00 - $44,970.00 Please be advised that the compensation hiring range indicated herein is provided solely as a good-faith estimate of expected base compensation for the position. The actual base compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and will depend on several factors, including but not limited to the student’s completed academic coursework, prior co-op work terms, relevant practical experience, demonstrated skills, and performance in any required evaluations during the hiring process.
