Job Summary
While upholding the Star Valley Health mission, vision and values this key position is responsible for directing the performance and maintaining the marketing department. This includes but is not limited to the collaboration, implementation, and monitoring of the organizations strategic marketing plan. Includes continual tracking of key indicators to ensure service line growth and positive return on marketing investment. Ideal candidate will be detailed, strategic, enthusiastic, have a positive attitude, a tireless work ethic and a desire to succeed. Must ensure that all state and federal laws are met. This is an at-will position.
Job Duties
Management and implementation of the strategic marketing plan. This will include but not limited to traditional, social, and digital campaigns along with a reputation management program and events through the marketing department.
Oversee creation and publication of all marketing materials in line with marketing goals.
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications to ensure a positive ROI.
Maintain effective internal communications and relationships to ensure that all relevant staff are kept informed of marketing objectives and activities.
Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing policies and protocols.
Submit ideas for public relations and marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the services and SV Health brand.
Assist in monitoring active public relations programs and develop ways to improve those campaigns.
Work closely with departments to develop collateral pieces to educate the community and potential patients about SV Health services.
Support presentations by assembling data, photos and videos, slide shows, and service line brochures.
Prepare mailers and brochures by coordinating content and graphics; arrange printing and mailing labels.
Maintain marketing and promotional items by checking and replenishing inventory within budget.
Provide public relations tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Coordinate and maintain external and internal communications through traditional, social, and digital channels.
Attendance at outside activities, night meetings or irregular working hours will be required.
Other duties and tasks as assigned or arise.
Requirements
Abilities and Skills:
Expertise written, editing and oral communication.
Sound analytical, imaginative, project management and problem-solving skills.
Strong multi-tasking skills with the ease of changing directions upon request and need.
Confident and dynamic personality.
Ability to work unpredictable hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies.
Constant sitting, walking, pushing, bending, and reaching with periodical standing throughout the work day. Exposure to outside elements when duties require.
Knowledge of modern office procedures and equipment, business English, grammar, business correspondence formats and composition.
Serve as liaison between the public relations department and all other departments and/or patrons of organizations throughout the community.
Excellent organization and prioritization abilities.
Ability to work as a team member or alone as determined by the situation.
Comply with HIPAA and other local, state and federal regulations.
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or related field.
Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and social media platform knowledge.
Proven success in development of multi-channel advertising, marketing, web and social media campaigns.
Develop, implement, and maintain systems/procedures to ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines.
Strong social media skills.
