The Marketing Specialist role performs general marketing tasks and routinely
completes assignments independently and with limited supervision. The role
requires some experience with strategic business development, compelling
writing, and creative thinking. Marketing staff members are self-driven,
efficient with deadlines, and able to work effectively with diverse teams of
engineers, marketers, and design staff to create persuasive content and standout
deliverables. The position partners with senior marketing and sales leaders on
tracking opportunities and developing strategies to capture work in competitive
marketers; overseeing the development and creating persuasive proposals,
presentations and marketing materials; and maintaining systems and tools to
promote overall efficiency and effectiveness. 

Responsibilities

* Work closely with Client Service Managers (CSMs) to develop client strategies
to help grow and maintain strong client relationships, including assembling
information packages, connecting CSMs to other clients, experts, and
opportunities within the organization, organizing client workshops and
special events, and maintaining marketing files. 
* Partner with teams on pursuits for clients to advance our positioning and
deliver proposals that resonate with our clients including coordinating all
elements of pursuits such as facilitating conversations to drive strategy
development, messaging, formatting, proofreading, coordination with graphics,
editing/review, compliance, brand adherence, and driving efficient and timely
production. 
* Facilitate client service team and pursuit-related meetings.
* Contribute to company marketing process improvements to support efficiency
and overall sales program effectiveness.
* Manage processes to create and maintain well-organized, up-to-date
qualifications statements, proposals, project descriptions, and resumes that
reflect firm strengths and client benefits. 
* Perform competitiveness research and analysis to enhance competitive
advantage.
* Manage data and maintain sales funnel to track and prioritize leads
effectively.
* Maintain marketing information systems for streamlined and effective
communication.
* Participate in conference engagement planning and marketing-related events to
strengthen industry visibility and relationships.
* Support a variety of tasks related to proposal development, including
document preparation, editing, and coordination.
* Communicate strategic messages clearly and consistently to different
audiences.
* Participate in interview coaching and development sessions to prepare team
members for client interactions.
* Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on
evolving needs.

Mentorship

* May provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less
experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.

Skills & Competencies

* Solid understanding of marketing principles and tactics.
* Ability to apply analytical skills for duties including proposal development
and competitor research.
* Solid understanding of data management practices and tools for effective
sales funnel maintenance.
* Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively convey strategic
messaging.
* Strong facilitation skills to guide in-depth discussions to further advance
client relations.
* Proficiency in using marketing information systems.

Experience

* Typically, a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
* Demonstrated experience in guiding and developing proposals and competitor
analysis.
* Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.

Education

* A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field is required.

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on
the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon
skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $28.30 - $38.00/hr. 

Location B: $30.70 - $41.90/hr. 

Location C: $33.60 - $45.70/hr.
