Description
We are seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, visual design, and community engagement. The Marketing Coordinator will support brand awareness and organizational growth through digital content creation, basic graphic design, and local outreach initiatives.
Requirements
Content Creation
Develop engaging content for social media platforms, website updates, email campaigns, and promotional materials
Assist in maintaining a consistent brand voice across all communication channels
Capture and edit photos and short-form videos for marketing use
Support content calendar planning and scheduling
Graphic Design
Create visually appealing graphics using tools such Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
Design flyers, social media posts, presentations, and basic marketing collateral
Ensure brand standards are consistently applied across all materials
Assist in updating templates and marketing assets
Community Outreach
Support planning and execution of community events, partnerships, and outreach campaigns
Represent the organization at local events and networking opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Assist with sponsorships, promotions, and grassroots marketing efforts
Administrative & Marketing Support
Track and report on social media and campaign performance metrics
Maintain marketing databases, contact lists, and distribution channels
Assist with internal communications and promotional initiatives
Provide general support to the marketing team as needed
Community Mascot
Willingness to wear newly designed company mascot costume
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong interest in marketing, branding, and community engagement
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or project experience in marketing, communications, or design
Basic photography and/or video editing skills
Experience with social media scheduling
Knowledge of basic marketing analytics
