Description
Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator supports the work of the Stephens Family YMCA, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This role contributes to the overall organizational marketing strategy, enhances brand identity, and provides high-level marketing support to the Development & Marketing Director along with Full Time Director staff.


Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement social media strategies to holistically market the YMCA.
Website Management: Maintain and update the YMCA website under the direction of the Development & Marketing Director.
Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze website and social media data for engagement, trends, and actionable insights.
YMCA Brand Standards: Utilize and adapt to YMCA brand standards to create graphics, brochures, and other materials that align with Y branding guidelines.
Campaign Development: Execute creative strategies for traditional and digital marketing campaigns, utilizing metrics.
Event Calendar Management: Maintain a calendar of events and coordinate the marketing timeline to ensure timely promotions.
Photography & Videography: Capture photos and videos for marketing purposes as needed.
Internal & External Promotion Management: Design and manage internal and external promotional materials to enhance member, program participant, and donor engagement and awareness.
Collaboration with Directors: Work closely with program directors to gather content and ensure consistent, quality marketing across all platforms.
Newsletter Design: Create and distribute monthly program-specific newsletters to engage members and promote events.
Social Media Trends: Stay informed on the latest social media best practices to keep the YMCA's marketing efforts current and effective.
Storytelling and Impact: Increase storytelling efforts by developing and sharing impact stories through various communication channels.
Event & Program Support: Assist with marketing efforts for events and programming to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline preferred.
Must be able to manage multiple platforms, such as; website management, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
Must be detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with multiple departments and teams to market specific programming in alignment with the YMCA’s overall mission and vision.
Proficiency in social media platforms, website management, and digital marketing tools.
Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and adjust marketing strategies as needed.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with graphic design, photography, and video production preferred.
