About the team:
Marketing Operations is a small, high-impact team within Angi's marketing organization responsible for the operational infrastructure that powers our marketing efforts. We own the systems and processes behind revenue feed accuracy, automated bidding & targeting, reporting, and campaign operations, working in close partnership with Marketing Analytics, Product, and Infrastructure to keep SEM running reliably and improving continuously. If it touches SEM data, bidding logic, or operational reliability, it's in our lane.
While this is a remote position, we are a global company and are looking for applicants located in eastern or central time zones to align with our team's working hours.
What you’ll do:
In this role, you'll serve as the operational backbone of Angi's SEM program, working alongside the director to monitor, maintain, and improve the systems that keep revenue, bidding, and reporting accurate and reliable. You'll be the first responder when something breaks, the person who keeps recurring processes running on schedule, and a go-to resource for data access and reporting across the SEM team and cross-functional partners.
Alert Monitoring & Incident Response - Serve as first responder to alerts across revenue feed accuracy, SEM bidding, and target delivery: diagnosing issues, escalating as needed, and documenting incidents with clear timelines, root causes, and resolutions.
Operational Support for Bidding & Targeting - Own management of automated location targeting and bidding systems, maintain alerting scripts infrastructure, and support testing and validation as automation is further developed.
Integration & Partnership Support - Marketing launch management, partnership tracking integration and reporting, and vendor relationships for paid app partners.
Reporting & Data Access - Deliver Looker and SQL-based reporting as needed and own marketing data accuracy monitoring.
Accounting Administration - Own marketing invoice and PO management and run the monthly vendor invoice approval process.
Who you are:
5+ years of relevant experience in SEM operations, marketing operations, digital marketing, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar); an MBA or Master’s is a plus but not required alongside sufficient work experience.
Proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with total comfort navigating campaign structures, bid strategies, budgets, and bulk operations.
Strong working knowledge of Looker (or similar BI tools) and SQL, including the ability to build/troubleshoot dashboards, write queries for data pulls/QA, and understand relational data models.
Expertise in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel), specifically regarding complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and integrating sheets into operational workflows.
Detail-oriented and operationally minded, thriving on system accuracy, proactive discrepancy detection, and clear process documentation.
Clear and proactive communicator comfortable escalating issues, writing incident summaries, and collaborating across Marketing Analytics, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams.
Resourceful self-starter capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams with minimal oversight, effectively prioritizing between monitoring, recurring tasks, and ad hoc requests.
Bonus qualifications:
Experience with statistical analysis and running controlled tests (A/B testing, geo experiments, etc.).
Familiarity with Google Ads Scripts (JavaScript) or other scripting tools used for SEM automation.
