About the Demand Gen Marketing Team

Thomson Reuter’s Demand Gen Team is dedicated to developing and implementing innovative and effective integrated marketing campaigns across a range of industry-leading products. This Manager role assists with setting the strategic approach, planning and performance prioritization for Thomson Reuters demand generation within the Corporates segment for the United States, delivering on the unique customer needs of these significant markets to ultimately drive marketing attributed sales, revenue, and growth in this segment.

We are seeking an experienced, digitally savvy, and data-driven leader for a Manager, Corporates Marketing Strategy to drive robust and integrated marketing strategies across the US market. This is a strategic and cross-functional leadership role who works closely with the Director of Marketing Strategy, sales leadership as well as across multiple marketing capabilities. This role requires strong data acumen, innovation and planning abilities, cross-functional leadership skills, and requires a self-motivated individual with effective communication skills.

About the Role

In this opportunity as the Manager, Corporates Marketing Strategy , you will:

1. Deeply understand the Corporate segment’s go-to-market strategies, insights, personas, customer segmentation, competitive intelligence to translate business goals into marketing strategies.
2. Partner closely across the marketing organization to bring strategies and plans to life through thoughtful planning, integration of relevant content and effective translation into demand gen programs and activities.
3. Assist with creation, planning and activation of innovative marketing strategies for the US segment, with strong focus on transforming campaigns that target buying groups, optimizing digital channels, partnering closely with sales, demand gen and product marketing groups to build and align on upfront strategy and prioritization.
4. Oversee multiple campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing strategy, timely execution, and optimal, high-quality results, while guiding campaign planning teams as needed.
5. Forecast, measure, analyze and report the impact of campaign and demand gen activities on marketing and sales pipeline, revenue, and demand funnel velocity.
6. Deliver effective marketing strategies to fuel sales funnel and build new pipeline, from marketing qualified lead to closed sale.
7. Continually monitor success of planning process and identify efficiencies, opportunities to optimize, leverage best practices, etc.
8. Consistently monitor performance data of assigned sub-segment; Derive insight and action items to leadership team and key stakeholders throughout the business.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Manager, Corporates Marketing Strategy , if your background includes:

1. Must be based in the United States; hybrid role based out of MSP or Frisco/Dallas area
2. 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing or demand gen, with deep understanding of marketing frameworks and channel mix activation
3. Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
4. Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, measuring, and reporting on marketing metrics
5. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams
6. Proficiency in marketing automation and reporting tools (e.g., Eloqua, Workfront, Tableau) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
7. Strong leadership, collaboration, teamwork and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization
8. ABM and industry-specific experience a plus; deep understanding of modern demand generation technologies, platforms and systems
9. BA/BS required; MBA preferred

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $97,100 - $180,300. Chicago, IL; Frisco, TX; fully remote location. For these locations and any eligible US locations not otherwise noted, including for fully remote location if applicable, the base compensation range for this role is $102,200 - $189,800. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
