We have an exciting opportunity for an Editorial Coordinator to join our Editorial Department! As an Editorial Coordinator for Science Signaling and Science Immunology , you will manage processes from manuscript acceptance to final publication. You will coordinate communication and files among editors and authors while also serving as the primary liaison with other AAAS departments, including Operations, Press Package, Visuals, and Proofreading. You will also be the main contact between the journals and external vendors such as Straive and The Sheridan Press.
Your role is essential to the weekly publication of both journals as you ensure smooth manuscript production and provide administrative support to editorial staff. Your proactive coordination and problem-solving skills will help maintain a seamless workflow, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

The anticipated initial rate of compensation for this position is $48,000 per year.
