This position has a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 and is eligible for PEC's Gain Share bonus.

The Job

The Director of Marketing works with the President and is responsible for leading our marketing efforts to drive growth. This position also plays a pivotal role on our leadership and management teams helping guide the strategic direction of the organization. The right person will have experience in leadership roles and will thrive sharing their knowledge and expertise to help the team develop and continue to excel.

 

The ideal candidate will have a depth of knowledge in B2B marketing, demand and lead generation, marketing automations, and has experience working with sales teams in a sales-led organization. This person must be willing and able to roll up their sleeves and execute on projects (when needed) as well craft the strategies that build PECs brand and increase opportunities for the sales team.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high-performing B2B marketing team providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback while ensuring strategies are aligned with wider business objectives
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support sales growth, increase brand visibility, generate leads, and increase market share in the B2B energy efficiency sector.
  • Play a critical role in executing the organization's external communication strategies, shaping the organization's image, reputation, and brand.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing campaigns, content, and collateral that resonate with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and service teams.
  • Lead the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of marketing and sales operations initiatives.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Leverage data to analyze performance and trends and identify opportunities for optimization & growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the wider PEC team.
  • Collaborate within the leadership team to develop and refine the company's strategic vision, objectives, and long-term plans.
  • Provide high-level input, analysis, and recommendations to shape the company's growth and competitive positioning in the market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business strategies.
  • Negotiate contract terms and serve as liaison with outside agencies and suppliers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises team members in the Marketing Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education & Experience

Master's degree (M.A. or M.S.) or equivalent; or minimum 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Previous experience with campaign management, B2B lead generation, Automation, content creation, graphic design, and social media marketing is required. Sales operations and/or sales enablement experience desired.

 

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations

This position requires a valid insurable Driver’s License.
