Position Summary
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to own our web presence and drive traffic through both paid and organic search strategies. This role blends hands-on website design/maintenance with performance marketing — you’ll shape how we look online and make sure the right people find us. You’ll work in close collaboration with our graphic design and media team, and report directly to the Executive Team overseeing our five subsidiaries — so visibility into the business is high and the work moves fast. This is an in-office role — we’ve found that the close, day-to-day collaboration with design, media, and leadership happens best in person.
Key Responsibilities
Web Design & Maintenance
Design, update, and maintain company website pages and landing pages
Ensure site design supports conversion goals and user experience best practices
Collaborate with developers or use CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot) to implement changes
Monitor site performance, page speed, and mobile responsiveness
Search Engine Optimization (Organic)
Conduct keyword research and on-page SEO optimization
Manage content strategy to improve organic search rankings
Monitor site health, technical SEO issues, and backlink profile
Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics
Paid Search & Advertising
Plan, launch, and manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads)
Manage budgets, bidding strategies, and audience targeting
A/B test ad copy, landing pages, and creative assets
Report on ROAS, CPC, CTR, and other key paid media metrics
Analytics & Reporting
Track performance across web, SEO, and paid channels using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Google Ads
Provide regular reports and actionable insights to the Executive Team
Recommend budget allocation based on channel performance
Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner closely with the graphic design and media team on visual assets, campaigns, and brand consistency
Coordinate across CNS Companies’ five subsidiaries to align digital strategy with each business’s goals
Work directly with the Executive Team to translate business priorities into digital initiatives
Requirements
Required:
Strong critical thinking skills and a fast learning curve — you pick up new tools and channels quickly
Comfort with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, HubSpot, etc.), or the ability to get up to speed quickly
Strong writing and visual design sense
Excellent collaborator who works well across teams and with senior leadership
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, nimble environment where priorities shift
Preferred (not required):
2+ years of experience in digital marketing, web design, or search advertising (see note below)
Experience managing Google Ads and/or Bing Ads campaigns
Understanding of SEO and AEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, answer engine/AI search optimization)
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
Google Ads and/or Analytics certification
Note: We’re open to candidates new to the industry if they’re a quick study, a strong collaborator, and bring sharp critical thinking. Experience is a plus, not a gate.
What We're Looking For
Humble — checks ego at the door, open to feedback, willing to learn
Hungry — self-motivated, proactive, always looking for the next opportunity to improve
Emotionally intelligent — reads people and situations well, communicates clearly, builds trust easily across teams and with leadership
Nimble — comfortable with ambiguity and a fast pace; can shift gears without losing momentum
What Success Looks Like
Website is up-to-date, on-brand, and optimized for conversions
Organic search traffic and rankings show consistent growth
Paid campaigns hit target CPA/ROAS and are optimized continuously
Marketing team has clear visibility into channel performance
