Sr. Manager, Commercial Marketing Women's Health

As a critical leader in our Commercial Marketing team, the Sr. Manager, Commercial Marketing - Women’s Health, will be responsible for overseeing the team and developing systems and processes that will transform marketing strategies and initiatives focused on driving revenue, sales enablement, and market share for our diagnostic women’s health portfolio. This role is critically important in driving growth and ensuring that marketing efforts directly contribute to the company’s bottom line.
This high-visibility role will be both a player/leader who is viewed as a trusted partner to many cross-functional teams and will build out a world-class commercial marketing function and capabilities.
Job Expectations
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead a team of marketing professionals, including content creators, digital marketers, and analysts.
Foster collaboration across departments, including sales, product development, and customer service.
Strategic Marketing Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s commercial objectives.
Identify market opportunities to drive revenue and growth.
Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing campaigns with business goals.
Revenue Growth and Performance Management:
Focus on metrics such as sales pipeline growth, customer acquisition, retention, and return on investment (ROI) for marketing efforts.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize marketing campaigns.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor positioning, and industry trends.
Use insights to refine strategies and create targeted campaigns.
Brand Development and Positioning:
Ensure that the company’s brand is effectively positioned in the marketplace.
Oversee the creation of marketing materials and messaging that resonate with target audience
Digital Marketing and Innovation:
Leverage digital channels such as social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising to drive growth.
Stay ahead of trends in marketing technology and innovation.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Allocate funds to campaigns and initiatives that deliver the highest impact.
Customer-Centric Focus:
Develop strategies to improve customer experience and engagement.
Create marketing campaigns that address customer pain points and offer tailored solutions.
Key Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, product management, or a related field (MBA often preferred).
Experience:
Leadership Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience, managing a team of professional level direct reports. Proven track record of strong interaction with senior leadership teams.
Functional Experience: 8+ years of experience in marketing, product management, or related fields.
Knowledge & Skills
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies.
Market Research Expertise: Strong understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive analysis.
Vendor Management: Deep understanding of vendor relations and management
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills utilized for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Ability to mentor and coach
Leadership: Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams. Strong leadership and team management skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to inform decisions.
Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and identify issues and develop creative solutions to address them
Product Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of the company’s products or services, preferably in the medical or diagnostics field if it is for Hologic
Industry: Familiarity with the healthcare industry, including trends, challenges, and key players, especially those relevant to the medical devices and diagnostics sector. Understand the processes and regulations in the customer working environment (e.g., HCP/Lab/Consumer)
Customer Insights: Deep knowledge of customer segments, buying patterns, and decision-making processes

Additional Requirements:
Travel requirements: On average, 50% travel time – fluctuating with business requirements (10 days/month). Ability to attend in-house, corporate, and field-based meetings as needed.
The annualized base salary range for this role is $129,600 to $216,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
