The Role
Retail Communications Specialist
The Retail Communications Specialist is responsible for delivering effective
communication and engagement
strategies, taking global frameworks and delivering in country. This role
ensures timely and accurate
dissemination of information, supports team engagement initiatives, and
coordinates key events and onboarding
activities to enhance the overall team member experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and maintain communication calendars, coordinate meetings, and ensure
timely updates.
* Manage local internal team social accounts and drive engagement initiatives
to foster a positive team
culture.
* Develop and distribute internal communications to keep teams informed and
aligned.
* Organize virtual and in-person conferences, including venue sourcing, agenda
development, content
adaptation, and presentation preparation.
* Coordinate onboarding for field leaders, including travel arrangements
(flights and hotels), starter packs,
and induction schedules.
* Deliver global retail initiatives aligned to retail calendar.
Requirements
* • Strong understanding of internal communications principles and engagement
strategies.
• Familiarity with content management tools.
• Proven experience in communications, event coordination, or similar roles
within retail or a fast-paced
environment.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Creative approach to engagement and problem-solving.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push or pull up to 50lbs
* Ability to travel as needed
