MARKETING MANAGER – HOME HEALTH

ABOUT THE ROLE
Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong background in home health, hospice, healthcare marketing, or a closely related field.
This position will be responsible for supporting, coaching, and developing our current team of Home Health Marketers across multiple locations. We are looking for someone who understands the home health industry, knows how to build strong referral relationships, and can help marketers turn activity into consistent admissions and census growth.
The ideal candidate is someone who has personally succeeded in healthcare marketing and can use that experience to guide others. This is a hands-on leadership position. The Marketing Manager will monitor marketer performance, identify areas for improvement, assist with difficult accounts or markets, and provide marketers with the tools, direction, and accountability they need to succeed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead, coach, and support Home Health Marketers across assigned offices and territories.
* Develop strategies to increase referrals, admissions, and overall census growth.
* Train marketers on effective field marketing, relationship building, follow-up, and account development.
* Help marketers identify and target high-value referral sources including:
* Physicians and physician groups
* Hospitals
* Skilled nursing facilities
* Assisted living communities
* Rehabilitation facilities
* Senior communities
* Case managers and discharge planners
* Other healthcare referral partners
* Review marketer activity, referral numbers, admissions, and overall performance.
* Identify struggling territories or marketers and create specific improvement plans.
* Assist marketers with difficult accounts, referral barriers, and opportunities for growth.
* Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and team meetings.
* Help establish realistic goals and hold marketers accountable for reaching expectations.
* Work closely with agency leadership and operations teams to ensure referrals can be accepted and serviced appropriately.
* Monitor market conditions, competitors, referral trends, and opportunities within each territory.
* Help develop marketing materials, campaigns, presentations, and tools that support field marketers.
* Participate in community networking events, healthcare events, and referral-source meetings when appropriate.
* Travel to agency locations or markets as needed to provide hands-on support and training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* 3+ years of successful marketing, business development, or referral development experience within home health, hospice, skilled nursing, healthcare, or a closely related industry.
* Strong understanding of how home health referrals and admissions are generated.
* Previous experience managing, training, mentoring, or leading marketers or business development representatives.
* Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with healthcare professionals and referral sources.
* Strong communication, coaching, organization, and leadership skills.
* Ability to analyze marketer performance and develop strategies to improve results.
* Comfortable working with multiple offices, territories, and team members.
* Ability to travel as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Direct home health marketing experience strongly preferred.
* Previous experience as a Marketing Manager, Director of Business Development, Regional Marketing Manager, or similar healthcare leadership position.
* Established understanding of Medicare-certified home health operations and referral processes.
* Experience managing marketers across multiple locations or territories.
* Proven history of increasing referrals, admissions, or census.
