Marketing Director, Hospital Automation and Connectivity

Job Summary
As the Marketing Director for Hospital Automation & Connectivity, you will set
and drive the strategic vision for Masimo’s interconnected hospital automation
and connectivity solutions. You will develop a global marketing plan to drive
revenue, define next generation product requirements, execute new product
introductions, develop product positioning and strategic messaging and execute
launches across acute care, alternate care, and hospital to home segments to
accelerate growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead development and execution of global marketing strategies for hospital
automation and connectivity solutions.
* Own product roadmap, defining the requirements for next generation products
in the pipeline, developing the business case, marketing plan and lifecycle
planning across connectivity platforms.
* Manage the product life cycle to include new product introductions and end of
life activities.
* Bridge product vision with commercial outcomes—including brand positioning,
value messaging, product launches, and revenue growth.
* Support the commercial teams in growing the hospital automation business with
marketing programs to support the global commercial teams.
* Translate technical product functionality into compelling customer-centric
value propositions for hospitals, healthcare systems, and alternate care
providers.
* Define go‑to‑market plans: segmentation, targeting, positioning, pricing,
campaigns across channels (digital, field, events).
* Analyze market dynamics, competition, and customer insights to inform
strategic pivots and investment decisions.
* Collaborate across R&D, Product Management, Engineering, Clinical Affairs,
Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing Communications—ensuring unified messaging
and seamless product rollouts.
* Oversee all launch phases through pre‑market to full market availability,
including training, collateral, and field enablement.
* Enable marketing excellence through collaboration with Sales, Clinical,
Engineering, Technical Services, and Marketing teams.
* Define key performance indicators to measure campaign effectiveness, market
penetration, ROI, and adoption.
* Utilize market intelligence, competitive data, and customer feedback to
continuously refine marketing strategy
* Serve as a strategic voice for the hospital automation business
* Manage marketing resources and budgets to maximize ROI and operational
efficiency.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
* 8+ years of demonstrated success in Marketing/Management/Commercial
responsibility in global markets in the medical device industry.
* Deep knowledge of hospital automation and connectivity solutions.
* Strong background in healthcare technology, information technology and
networking.
* Very strong business acumen (or commensurate training)
* Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong writing and speaking skills
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Advanced ability with the Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project and
suite of applications.
Preferred Qualifications
* Proven leadership, orientation to customer and team needs, creativity, and a
“do whatever it takes attitude”
Education
* Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
required.
* MBA/advanced degree is desired.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $170,000 - $240,000 plus
benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors,
including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position
also qualifies for up to 25% annual bonus based on Company, department, and
individual performance.
Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent
sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and
digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating
meetings or walking in the facilities. Travel domestically and internationally
up to 30% is necessary.
