Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Marketing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our marketing team, providing essential support by assisting with administrative tasks, content creation, and day-to-day operations. This role is critical for ensuring smooth operations across the marketing department and helps maintain efficiency in executing marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research:
1. Conduct and report to team the research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to support marketing strategies.
2. Gather data and report to team on target audiences, including demographics, preferences, and needs, to support the development of more effective campaigns.
3. Assist in gathering information, statistics, and facts to support the development of blog posts, social media content, or marketing materials.
4. Monitor and report to team on social media platforms for emerging trends and conversations that can be leveraged in marketing campaigns.
* Social Media Support:
1. Assist in creating engaging social media content, including text, images, and short form videos, that aligns with the brand's voice and strategy.
2. Track and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms to foster engagement with the audience.
* Organization:
1. Help manage the organization’s digital asset library, ensuring content is up-to-date and properly organized.
2. Support the team in organizing events, including setup, logistics, and promotion.
3. Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the marketing department.
* Content Creation:
1. Assist in the creation of content for social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
2. Assist in shooting and gathering photo, video, and audio content.
3. Provide support in editing photo/video materials for marketing use.
4. Assist with monthly newsletter design.
* Administrative Support:
1. Provide administrative support to the Marketing Director and other team members as needed.
2. Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and prepare reports.
3. Maintain organized records and filing systems.
* Communication:
1. Assist with communication with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve any marketing issues.
2. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
* Additional Requirements
1. Any other tasks that may be assigned.
2. Assist in managing promotional materials and maintaining inventory of marketing supplies.
3. Assist in creating employee ID badges & email signatures.
4. Assist in monitoring and maintaining network systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
5. Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
