LEASE MARKETING MANAGER, INDUSTRY CITY
Location: Sunset Park, Brooklyn (on-site, full-time)
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Salary: $95,000 to $110,000, depending on experience, plus benefits
ABOUT INDUSTRY CITY
Industry City is a 35-acre waterfront campus in Sunset Park, Brooklyn: 16 buildings, more than 700 companies, and about 8,500 people on campus every day. Our tenants build robots, design furniture, run labs, produce media, ship products and make things across almost every industry. We are where the people building, making and scaling things in the physical world choose to have their offices, workshops, labs and warehouses. The community of 700+ companies isn't an amenity. It's the product.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Lease Marketing Manager to work directly with our Head of Marketing and leasing team to fill space across the campus. This is a hands-on generalist role on a small team. You’ll own the materials and channels brokers and prospects see first (flyers, listings, photography, the broker newsletter and LinkedIn) and help shape how we market Industry City to the companies we want here.
You’ve done this work on the landlord or brokerage side, and you can write, design and retouch. You fully own your work, taking projects from first idea to finished, sent and tracked. You think ahead, bring ideas to the team and look for ways to improve how things get done.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Contribute to lease marketing strategy: bring ideas to planning conversations, spot gaps in how we reach brokers and prospects, and propose campaigns, content and tests, not just execute them.
* Produce leasing collateral: broker flyers, leasing decks, and general materials such as leave-behinds and brochures, in our brand voice and on deadline.
* Manage our listings on CoStar, LoopNet, CREXI, The Listings Project and the Industry City website, and keep availability accurate and current.
* Direct space and tenant photography: brief and manage photographers, then retouch the images yourself in Photoshop (remove objects, clean up spaces, color-correct) and use AI tools for virtual staging.
* Write, build and send our broker newsletter in Mailchimp.
* Create LinkedIn content for the Industry City company page, with a focus on tenant stories and our core industries, and manage the content calendar with our content coordinator.
* Join PR calls with our agency to find tenant stories and turn them into content for LinkedIn, the broker newsletter and leasing materials.
* Manage invoices and spend tracking for our agencies, listing platforms (CoStar, LoopNet) and print vendors, and work with the Head of Marketing on where our advertising budget goes.
* Support B2B and industry events on campus (such as tech, robotics and climate events)
as needed.
* Update leasing pages on our WordPress site and content in our tenant app.
WHAT YOU BRING
* 4 to 6 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 of them in commercial real estate marketing (landlord, developer, brokerage or flex/coworking operator).
* Strong design skills in Canva for flyers, decks and collateral, and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for image retouching and object removal.
* Strong command of AI tools (Claude, Gemini or similar) for writing, research and image work, including virtual staging, with the judgment to fact-check and edit what they produce.
* Hands-on Mailchimp and WordPress experience.
* Clear, specific writing. You can write a broker flyer that leads with specs and a LinkedIn post that tells a real story, and you know the difference.
* A point of view on marketing. You come to meetings with ideas and can explain why they'd work.
* Experience managing vendor relationships and tracking marketing spend or budgets.
* Interest in commercial real estate and development, comfort working with leasing teams, and an understanding of how a space actually gets leased.
NICE TO HAVE
* Experience with CoStar, LoopNet or CREXI listing management.
* Experience with Airtable, Pipedrive or another CRM.
* Knowledge of Brooklyn and the NYC office, industrial and flex markets.
WHAT THIS JOB IS LIKE
This is a varied role on a small team. On any given day you might be editing a leasing deck, retouching a space photo, drafting the broker newsletter and updating listings, so you’ll need to be comfortable switching between different kinds of work and deciding what comes first when several requests come in at once.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing and SVP of Leasing, and you’ll have the independence to set your own priorities, move work forward and bring new ideas to the table.
