Lightburn is hiring a Digital Marketing Associate who is eager to expand their digital marketing experience in an agency setting. You'll work across analytics, paid media, and email for our client accounts, with a particular emphasis on reporting.
Some weeks you'll build a dashboard in Data Studio or dig into why a number moved in GA4. Other weeks you may help set up a PPC campaign or set up an email campaign. Reporting is where you'll spend the most time, but youβll be exposed to a number of tactics.
This is an early-career role, and weβre as interested in finding a great fit for our culture as we are in finding the right mix of experience. We care more about how you think than what tools you've already used. To be successful in this role, you have some marketing or analytics experience, but more importantly, you are curious, collaborative, and eager to expand your skills.
Note: We are seeking a candidate based in Wisconsin who can regularly spend time in our Milwaukee office, especially during their first 90 days.
What you'll be responsible for:
Reporting and dashboards
Build and maintain client reports and dashboards in Data Studio
Pull and organize performance data from GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Semrush, and other platforms
Check every report for accuracy before it goes out
Flag data issues and tracking gaps early
Analysis and communication
GA4/Google Tag Manager set up on new sites
Track KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversions, and ROAS across channels
Give account managers the context they need ahead of client meetings
Campaign support
Build, schedule, and QA email campaigns, then report on how they performed
Support paid media setup and trafficking in a variety of ad platforms
Other support as needed
Traits We're Looking For
You pick things up fast. Someone walks you through a process once and you can run it the second time
You form opinions and share them. When a number looks wrong or a process seems clumsy, you say so.
You ask questions early instead of guessing and hoping
You care about getting the details right, especially with numbers
You dig past the dashboard number to find out why a campaign actually worked
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and the instinct to own what you touch
Experience & Skills
Around 2 years of exposure to digital marketing or analytics. An internship, coursework, a side project, or a job where you touched marketing data can count if itβs relevant.
You've spent time in GA4, Meta, or a dashboard tool and want to go further
You're comfortable in Excel
You can explain what a number means to someone who doesn't work in data
Experience using AI tools as part of your workflow
Other Attributes We Love
A Google Analytics or Meta Blueprint certification
Exposure to Google Tag Manager, Data Studio, or email marketing platforms
Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Curiosity about SEO, GEO, and how AI is changing search and measurement
Agency, internship, or client-facing experience of any kind
Interest in improving how reporting gets built, not only running what exists
Competitive salary and industry-leading benefits, including generous vacation, flexible schedule, dental and medical insurance, 401(k), and all sorts of other fun stuff.
Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000 based on experience.
